Lived Impact is a non-clinical peer support and education resource. It does not replace medical, psychological or emergency care.

How We Partner

We don't do tick-box engagement.

Every partnership is built around genuine commitment to change, not compliance. We work with organisations that are ready to move beyond consultation and into transformation.

The work

Lived experience consultancy, strategy and systems change.

Lived Impact offers support for organisations wanting to work with lived expertise in a more ethical, practical and meaningful way.

This may include support with co-design, lived experience engagement, peer workforce development, advisory structures, trauma-informed practice, policy review, service design, advocacy strategy, workshops, speaking, or sense-making around complex systems issues.

The work is especially suited to organisations in child protection, domestic and family violence, justice, mental health, disability, housing, health and community services.

At the heart of the service is a simple belief: lived experience is not just a story to be shared. It is a form of intelligence that can help organisations understand what is really happening inside systems, where people are falling through gaps, and what needs to change.

For Organisations

Lived Expertise Organisational Readiness Review

"Before inviting people with lived experience into greater participation, organisations need to understand whether the conditions exist for their expertise to have meaningful influence."

Lived Impact reviews the organisational structures, culture, practices and decision pathways that shape whether lived expertise can be recognised, supported and acted upon. A review may examine leadership and governance, current participation mechanisms, decision-making authority and power, policies and procedures, workforce capability, recruitment and role design, psychological safety and support, consent and accessibility, remuneration and resourcing, storytelling and communications, feedback loops, evaluation and organisational accountability.

The outcome is not a pass or fail. It is a current-state picture of strengths, gaps and risks, with practical priorities and a staged roadmap for building organisational capability.

Shifting lived experience from sentiment to system assets.

Lived Impact acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and work, and pays respect to Elders past, present, and emerging. We recognise the strength, resilience, and wisdom of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.

Lived Impact is committed to the principles of genuine inclusion, ethical practice, and the belief that those closest to the problem are closest to the solution. Lived experience is not a resource to be extracted - it is leadership to be recognised.
